Need Urgent Blood for a Patient or Crash Victim?
When a road accident or acute surgical emergency occurs, every minute matters. Our central community volunteer cell works around the clock to connect hospital staff and families with nearby active donors.
- Emergency Phone Coordination: 24/7 dedicated helpline for critical trauma surgeries.
- Hospital Verification: Fast triage to match donors in the immediate geographic vicinity.
- Transport Support: Coordination of rapid donor conveyance to destination clinics.
The 90-Day Medical Cooldown Standard
To protect volunteer health, TPFB strictly enforces a mandatory 90-day cooldown between whole blood donations. Red blood cells and iron stores require approximately 10 to 12 weeks to safely replenish. Even if a donor manually toggles their availability status, our system automatically withholds their eligibility until the 90-day cooldown period has safely elapsed.
