TPFB is the premier non-political, voluntary, and non-profit professional foundation uniting Bangladeshi transport engineers, planners, researchers, and road safety specialists working both nationally and internationally. Officially established under its ratified Constitution, TPFB serves as a collective catalyst for modern, safe, and sustainable transportation development.

As stipulated in Article 3 of the TPFB Constitution, our mission encompasses 14 key goals including: elevating professional and ethical standards, modernizing highway and rail infrastructure, integrating Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and GIS data, driving road safety engineering, facilitating academic thesis research, and advising national transport policy bodies.

Under Article 6, membership is open to qualified transport professionals, civil engineers, urban & regional planners, and traffic scientists. The five statutory tiers are: Founder Member, Life Member, Donor Member, General Member, and Student / Fresh Graduate Member. Each tier has dedicated constitutional voting and participation rights.

According to Article 10(b), TPFB governance is vested in a 7-Seat Executive Board comprising: President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Organizing Secretary, and three Executive Members. The board is elected for a designated tenure through a transparent secret-ballot election system supervised by an independent Election Commission.

TPFB delivers high-impact specialized engineering courses, including our flagship In-Depth Tunnelling Engineering Course, Road Safety Audit certifications, Bridge & Pavement Design workshops, and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) masterclasses designed in collaboration with senior industry consultants.

Upcoming premium courses (such as the Tunnelling Engineering Course) feature an online Pre-Enrollment waitlist. Interested professionals and students can register early without immediate payment to express interest, reserve a seat priority, and receive syllabus updates directly from our training coordinators.

The TPFB Big Data Hub is a centralized data repository offering registered members access to geometric alignment datasets, GIS shapefiles, official transport design manuals, traffic sensor feeds, and standardized road specifications to foster evidence-based planning across Bangladesh.

Through our Academic Research Collaboration initiative, undergraduate and postgraduate transportation researchers can apply for official institutional clearances, mentor matching, and field site access to major national infrastructure projects such as bridges, expressways, and mass transit corridors.

The Community Blood Club is a humanitarian initiative of TPFB engineers that maintains an emergency blood donor registry. Members can voluntarily register their blood group and receive immediate peer notifications whenever an urgent transfusion is needed by members, engineers, or their families.
